Just want to wish everyone a wonderful Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. It’s been a profitable but tricky year for FX trading, had to take the money when it was there on most pairs else watch it evaporate, except for the yens which have been doing great the last few months according to plan.

I hope every one of you has an awesome time during the holidays with family and friends, and look forward to a great 2013 as I am sure you all do, since the Mayan’s were apparently wrong

Yes you read that correctly!

It is no secret I was first a member (I learned to traded at FXB!), and later a currency coach at FXBootcamp for nearly 5 years, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there coaching the London session all during that time. I left there in January 2012 to start SmartPip as a different concept, more of a long term, more advanced (less new questions, more focus on the daily plans, trade management & trader psychology) hangout for traders. This concept has worked very well from nearly all accounts, and continues to improve month by month with new additions such as the recently added regularly scheduled guest coaching from our members etc.

Recently I have had many discussions with Wayne over at FXBootcamp about the possibility of integrating the SmartPip Forex Trading room into FXBootcamp as an Advanced Trading Room. This would benefit traders in several ways. One thing about FXBootcamp is it is a fantastic place for anyone new to Forex to learn top to bottom how to become a successful Forex trader, yet once this has been achieved it becomes rather repetitive to sit through all the beginning lessons for months/years on end. It really is not a long term advanced hangout for traders that are past a certain point. That is the role SmartPip.com was designed to fill, and I feel it has done that well. So integrating SmartPip’s trading room into FXBootcamp as an advanced room is an absolute perfect fit, allowing traders to ‘Graduate’ (as many SmartPip members call it) to the Advanced Trading Room when they feel they are done with the constant newer training and market coverage. So doing this all at once place, FXBootcamp, facilitates that connection, and natural progression even better than having the SmartPip room as a stand-alone project. In the end we mutually agreed, and I feel this benefits traders a good deal.

So as of June 2012 I have begun broadcasting the Advanced trading room at FXBootcamp in place of the SmartPip room, at the same hours, and entirely same structure/content that has been taking place at SmartPip since February this year.

In addition to the already in place structure, I have added an hour in the morning as a sort of ‘pre-New York update’ taking place from 6:30-7:30am EST. to broaden this idea into times that may help some New York traders.

For now only existing SmartPip members can access this Advanced room, but sometime over the next week or so new members will again be accepted through the FXBootcamp site so stay tuned, which I will link here on SmartPip for those of you that are not FXB members. Until this time new subscribers are temporarily disabled, but no worries, it will re-open quickly.

The SmartPip site will remain here, and I will post some trading related content from time to time, but if you want daily live trade planning/trading please join us at the new FXB Advanced Trading Room when it re-opens for new members.

You may have heard we just started a guest coaching program after the normal class has completed at SmartPip. I just posted a listing of the next 6 weeks worth of guest coaches for the SmartPip Forex trading room. Each coach will be performing 3 consecutive days of one hour classes on topics varying from technical analysis, live trading, trader psychology, trading bots etc.

If this is something you wish to see, then all you need to do is stay in the room once my live portion is done daily and shortly after these guest coaches will take the charts and mic for an hour. It is a wonderful opportunity for traders to see many different styles live, and ask questions, over a short period of time.

If you have a desire to coach yourself, all you need do is let me know via the contact form, along with what you plan to talk about. Hello SmartPippers..

Hope everything has been going well for you also during the fairly active trading we have seen lately. I have some cool updates for you here, as well as some important room price/structure change information.

First let me tell you about a cool new addition to the SmartPip Forex Trading Room beginning this week.

Sometime after my live coaching segment is complete, during either the London session, others possibly in New York, one of our SmartPip members will be stepping into the role of a Guest Coach. This coach will be teaching the class for one hour, for three straight days. Allowing you to see how other traders go about their trading day, we all have our methods after all.

This will do two things. One, allow members of SmartPip to see other perspectives on the market as an added bonus to the membership. Two, to give the people stepping forward to coach the opportunity to see just how much teaching others can seriously help their own trading, as it has done for myself over the years.

The goal will be to have one guest coach per week as we have volunteers. We have the first three weeks booked, with two others talking to me now. Starting Tonight just after the London open SmartPip member Paul W. from New Zealand will take the screen and mic for an hour after my session is complete, and then again Wednesday & Thursday.

On top of all of this, starting June 1st I will be adding a minimum of 1 hour per New York morning of live coaching, planning as well during the pre-New York time frame.

This would be a great time if you are not already a SmartPip member to give it a try, there is no extra cost for the additional coaches. The one week trial offer will be expiring midnight EST Thursday May 24th not to return.

Also there will be a price increase for new members as of June 1st, as we will also be adding at least an hour of coaching for pre-New York trading. If you wish to secure the lower cost permanently, you must subscribe before month’s end.

http://SmartPip.com/ As we started our day in Pre-London, we found ourselves already in the middle of an ‘Asian Fade’ back to support after yesterdays strong move in New York. After carefully analyzing the USD Index, along with individual levels of support/resistance on Eur/Usd, Gbp/Usd, Aud/Usd and a few JPY pairs, we determined a high probability we would be long in London today on all of them. However, because we were in the middle we would have to wait until our zone was reached. In this video I show why we waited until our prescribed zone, mainly due to multiple overlapping area’s of support + proper time of day (London Open), along with exactly why, where, when I pulled the trigger on two of these 5 longs. The words ‘at support London Open’ or ‘at resistance London open’ have always got me excited as I am sure it does some of you. Let’s just say the level of quality of this sort of trade is extremely high and used to occur almost daily in London, but lately you have had to be more crafty. Yet today it was as straight forward as it gets. End result was quite a monster 250+ pip of a day if you took correlated baskets like I did, or still a great day even if you only took the smallest performer, the Eur/Usd at 75-80 pips, not too shabby.

http://SmartPip.com/ Looks like a pretty large Daily head and shoulders forming on the Eur/Usd. Today we found ourselves tired and all over resistance to start the week. Both Asia and London offered a chance to get short. In this video I discuss in detail what made me think short in the first place, how/where we got short in class, and where I think it is going overall and why. Also I show another setup with the Eur/Aud we put together based on a correlation view that took place at the same time as the Eur/Usd short. These plans were put together using Fibonacci, role reversal, correlation, and time of day. Hope many of you caught some of this, but if not there is likely to be more of an opportunity to soon enough.

http://SmartPip.com/ Do you like pips right away to start your day? When we opened class today in the Forex trading room we were only minutes away from a potential entry on the Eur/Usd. So we quickly went over the state of the USIndex and Eur/Usd, and got long a higher low based off the plan we extracted from it for couple hours cashing 45-50 pips depending on entry. In this video I show why we expected this pullback in the first place, and why I exited where I did. In addition, I go over briefly a Eur/Gbp plan we put together, as well as a higher quality Gbp/Jpy trade plan that we had to wait for but eventually kicked out an 80 pip gift to us. These trades were primarily put together using Fibonacci retracement levels, correlation, 5ema, daily chart, pivot points, 21ema, role reversal, and the all important Time of Day (moneyflow baby). A lot more went on tonight that what we talk about here but these two trades alone were 120-130 pips, who Truly needs more than that daily anyway. Enjoy.
